The Basics
Subcutaneous (SubQ) injections deliver solution into the fatty tissue layer just beneath the skin. This route offers slower, steadier absorption than intramuscular injection and is the standard technique used across most peptide research protocols.
Common research sites include the abdomen (2 inches from the navel), the outer thigh, and the back of the upper arm — rotating sites helps prevent tissue irritation over repeated use.
Always use a new, sterile needle for every injection and dispose of sharps in an approved container.

The Process
Choose an appropriate subcutaneous site — commonly the abdomen, outer thigh, or upper arm — and rotate sites between sessions to avoid irritation.
